Or do i. UMMMM.

Just want oen that will work with dual core CPu. Not sure if the 32bit
version takes advantage of this or not ?

I suppose a 64bit OS and CPu would be best for speed. So i think ill
dual boot 32 and 64 bit OS.

You can get dual-core performance with the 32-bit version on 32-bit OS, but
the 64-bit version will only run on the 64-bit OS. There is an additional
performance gain by going to 64-bit. Dual boot is recommended as there are
still several limitations of the 64-bit OS in terms of compatibility.

The 64bit OS would just be a play thing for me :)

Ill use it for encoding and stuff that will benifit from it and when i
play gamesin ill go backl to the 32bit os and other stuff.

If you want to just use the dual core CPU without going to XP Pro 64
then you will get the enhanced execution speed of 2 execution cores but
not the additional enhancement of a 64 bit instruction set - which
allows data to be sent in chunks that are twice as large per cpu cycle.
Both are going to make a big differnce. A 64 Bit OS might create some
issues in terms of driver support etc.

A dual boot is probably a good idea just so you can have a reliable
platform to fall back on if you are having issues with XP 64.
