WMP 6.4: SelectionEnd does not work |

Folks,
I'm building a website that embeds the mediaplayer 6.4. (for those who are
still using NT4).
Now I'm using the SelectionEnd parameter to stop playback at a certain time.
Unfortunately it does not work.
I've got a file that's 3600 seconds long. When I playback the file and set
SelectionEnd to let's say 1800, it continues playing until the end of the
file.
When I request the value of the SelectionEnd param it says it is 3600,
although I had set it to 1800 in the previous line of code (javascript).
The ReadyState is 4, so that's ok.
I'm pulling out my hair on this...:-) does anyone have a solution?
