WMP 10 stalls at end of first video |

Okay, I hope I can explain this right. When I play a video using
Windows Media Player, when it gets to the end of the video, it stalls.
It plays the video all the way through with no problem, but then it
hangs for a few seconds. I can't close it or do anything with it for
those few seconds. It's like the application is suddenly having to do
some kind of heavy processing.
Now, here's the most frustrating part of it. Sometimes I will select a
group of videos and play them back to back. The player will get to the
end of the first video and then stalls, like usual. Then it goes on to
the next video. But here's the odd part. At the end of the second
video, or third or any beyond the first, it does not stall. It goes
right on through the way it should.
So what's the deal at the end of the first video (whether there are
others following it or not) that causes the player to do that?
