Hi,
I have wins ME and WMP 9.After upgrading I get all sounds.i.e. games etc and mp3s but WMP will not play my midi files and nor will any other player. ( I also have Vanbasco ). I have checked every setting I can think of and all seems in order...EXCEPT.. there seems to be a problem with a device called Microsoft GS wavetable SW Synth. I cannot highlight the properties button on this device so can't figure out how to sort the problem. Windows has never been able to detect any updated drivers...ever !. After years of troublefree midi playing I am stumped as to what the problem is.Can anyone help?
