how to add display info via command line |

I wish to add display info such as author, description and I want to be able to do this via command line.
I tried
wm8eutil -input "D:\VidC_05_shr\ip_dvdArt\APP_ART\pod2.wmv" -output "D:\VidC_05_shr\ip_dvdArt\APP_ART\pod2a.wmv" -author "the pps group" -description "the long N winding road"
it fails with ERROR: Compressed audio is not a valid input.
I think the audio is valid, it plays. below is some info on my file.
the file has audio of
Windows Media Audio 9 Voice
4 kbps, 8 kHz, mono
and video of
Windows Media Video 9, 137 Kbps
