Whenever i rip my music I get the album picture as a thumbnail for the folder
of each album. I'm more than happy with this but for the life of me I can't
find where the actual album pictures are stored, so can anyone give a generic
answer (obviously it will be different from system-to-system but you know
what I'm getting at ;) as to where they would/shoul;d normally be stored?

They are hidden/system files in the same folder as the album tracks.
