Controls Don't Work |

In every version of WMP for Mac I've had, the controls (FFWD, REV) are always
grayed out. Is there a way to fix this so I can easily scan through vide
files?

Some files can't be fast-forwarded, this includes some streamed files
and AFAIK anything sent by a web server that's not "indexed" to
provide hints to the player.
Is there any recognisable pattern to this, or do you mean *everything*
even the demo clips can't be fast forwarded ?

Can't think of a single WMP file I have that I can FFWD, etc. It just strikes
me as dd that Quicktime can do this with every .mov file
