Hi folks - I have os9.2 and am running internet explorer with windows media
player 7.1

When running wmv files, audio plays, but video screen remains blank, except
with the trial vid, which works ok.
any suggestionswould be appreciated

The video probably uses a codec that Windows Media Player 7 for Mac OS 9
doesn't support. Unfortunately, there's not much you can do aside from
viewing the video on a Windows or Mac OS X machine with a newer version of
Windows Media Player.

sometimes that doesn't work (windows only codec or DRM9+ ...)
