Archiving a copy of a live content |
|
|
I have Windows 2003 Server, and I want to stream live content.
I'd also like to record the stream on the server, for later playback.
As far as I know, I shouldn't use the encoder to create the archive
file; this enhances the processing load on the encoding computer . I'd
like to record it on the server, but I don't know how to configure my
Windows Media server to create an archived copy.
I didn't find the answer in the online help. Any suggestions ??
Many thanks,
James-c

Why not use the publishing point archiving option ? |
It will record exactly what you stream in .asf format to your servers HDD |
