MSN Radio on wmp10 |
|
|
Hi, I recently have not been able to play radio stations on my laptop, and
don't have the slightest clue why. No matter what radio station I click on, i
get this:
"Do you want to save the file?
Name: generate.asx
Type: Windows Media Audio/Video playlist
From: radio.msn.com
The file you are downloading cannot be opened by the default
program. It is either corrupted or it has an incorrect file type. As a
security precaution, it is recommended that you cancel the
download."
If click on save, it will give me this message "Cannot copy file: cannot
read from source file or disk."
If anyone could shed some light on this it would be greatly appreciated.

Under WMP's Tools:Options:File Types, are the first two checkboxes grey or
checked?

(speaking for myself and doing this in my free time)
See http://www.nwlink.com/~zachd/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info.
