Windows Media Encoder keeps stopping |

I have two WM servers (where the encoding of a live broadcast just
stops itself after about 8 hours of running.
I have done everything I can think of to make it more stable.
The Hardware is Proliant DL380 G3 servers using dual 2.8GHx Xeons and
2GB RAM
OS is either 2000 SP4 or 2003
If I could even get the system to create some logs that would be great
by there does not appear to be any logging features in WME.
I am running Windows Media Encoder 9.00.00.2980
Anyone have any ideas?
.....also can WME run as a services? It sucks that the console has to
be logged on all the time.
....or any way to monitor that the encoder is actually encoding rather
than me getting a phone call from an unhappy users?!!!
