i keep getting error code when using wmp 10, i have tried to uninstall it
through add remove program, but when i try to install wmp9 it tells me a
newer version is on my system. I tried to find all occurences in the registy
and either it did not work or i did not get them all. can some help me
figure out how to get wmp 10 off my computer completly (registry and all) so
i can load wmp 9 (never had a problem with it).

thank you very much

mike: A U K magazine (Computer Buyer Issue 164 January 2005 but on sale now)
states in its review of WMP10 that although this is the best media player
around, there are two caveats. (1) "Microsoft consider this to be part of
operating system and it cant be uninstalled. Its unlikely to cause any fatal
issues but as with all software, its a good idea to back up any critical work
first". (2)"The 13MB download wont suit those with an expensive or erratic
dialup internet connection".
