I tried to install Windows Media Encoder 9 series..

However, at the last step of installation (Runtime file install?), the bar
reached 100% but the installation is not complete and hangs forever.

I really need help.

Try downloading and installer the encoder again.
You may also want to run scandisk to check if your hard drive is ok.
