What's wrong with some .asf files? |
|
|
I've a game called "Need For Speed Hot Pursuit II" and it has music in it.
Those files are encoded by some hardware, and i want to find that codec. I
have no clue which codec that is, and a guy who works for EA told me that i'd
have to go to web and find the codec. I can't, there are too many. I need
help.
Is there anyone who knows which version of wmp playes those files??? or
which codec would decompress those asf files for me??? If you know please go
ahead and answer me, I'll appreciate that. Thanks.

They are most likely using some very old codec that came with the old netshow
encoder...
Try googling for wmtools.exe and let me know if installing it solves the
problem.
