Well I'm not sure what you mean by one-by-one , that is, if you mean
can you stitch them together as one output file : Then assuming you
can encode the VOBs OK, add each file as a source for audio and video.
Once you have say all of them (often 4 VOB files) as a 'Source' then
for each one, select the dropdown 'At End : Rollover to next source'
and on the last one just leave it at 'Stop Encoding'
Each VOB file then completes encoding, and the next segments is
stitched onto the current media file.
Would that work for you ?

You most likely need to rip the DVD before encoding.
You also need to check if you have an adequate MPEG2 decoder, as WME doesn't
like many of them...
Try checking www.microsoftusernetwork.com/zarax for a DVD to WMV tutorial
and www.microsoftusernetwork.com/forum for further help.

Check out the software you use to rip the DVD to the VOB file. DVDdecryptor
provides an option to rip the complete movie into a single VBO file.
