Actually, it turns out that it's the codec. If I use the version 9 codec in
the version 7 encoder I get the same washed out result. But if I use the
version 7 codec in either version of the encoder I get proper levels. The
input levels are set properly with color bars and a vector scope.
is there any way to dynamically adjust the out put levels for a given codec
within the encoder settings somewhere. And/or, do any of the plugins offer
the ability to manually adjust these settings? |
