Capture device property dialog |
|
|
Is there any way to get a capture device property dialog using the
encoder SDK? My new device always switches to tv tuner, but I need the
composite input. I need to be able to display a property dialog to let
the user to select the right source.
In Real Producer it is just one method
axProducerControl1.ShowVideoCardFormatDialog();
Please help me to do the same using WME SDK or any other way.
Thanks in advance!!!!

Hello Microsoft People,
Does anybody have the answer? Or does this mean that it is impossible
to use C# or VB for Windows Media Encoder SDK?
I have found a C++ example, but my program has been written in C#.
Thanks,
Peter

Which version of the SDK do you have?
In mine (V9), there are lots of samples in C# including 13 in the SDK help
file.

Thanks for your reply March,
I also use the SDK 9. Could you please point to the C# example that
displays the device propery dialog? I could not find any.
Thanks very much, I really appriciate your help.

Re: Capture device property dialog |

Well, it looks like sir March is still looking for some C# samples for
displaying the device property dialog...
Can anyone comment on this?
As I understand this (please correct me if I am wrong) it doesn't make
any sense to start writing the live encoding software if there is no
way to control the capture device (e.g. choose the SVideo or Composite
video input).
Does this mean that the WME9-based live encoding software can be
written only in C++???
Is anybody from Microsof available for help?
Thanks a lot,
Peter
