Encoder 9 Freezing - live stream |
|
|
I'm using XP Pro encoding to a 2003 server with WMS 9.1.
Using a live stream into the mini DV port. I can see the
input video fine. It freezes when I try and change any of
the properties. Then let it sit for minutes then try and
end the task, still nothing.
I tried un and re-installing the encoder.
Same issue...
Also no other software is running.
Any ideas on what may be happening?
Thanks,
Jon C.

Hi Jon,
I just reproduced your issue and believe that I have come up with a work
around using Excel 2003 and Windows Media Encoder 9 Series.
Instead of double clicking on a field to access its settings, right click
on the field that you want to access and then choose the "Field
Settings..." properties menu.
Best Regards,

Jon, do you have any third party codec packs installed on this machine? If
so, try uninstalling them first and then repairing your install of Windows
Media Encoder.

Thank you for the response.
I had a video converter program (EZ Cleaner 5) installed.
Unistalled and re-installed WME and everything seems to
work great.
Thank,
Jon C.
