I'm assuming the correct method for this is GetAudioLevel, which in the
documentation simply says "Not implemented".
Could anyone point me to something that could be used to get the current
microphone input level? I have experimented with the mixerOpen,
mixerGetLineInfo, etc.. API calls but they seem to be very unreliable as far
as compatibility with sounds cards.
Launching the WMEncoderApp object simply to get the two audio level bars it
has just isn't going to cut it. I can seem it's obviously working there, I
don't understand why there is no way to get that audio level programatically.
I seem to remember this working just fine in previous WMEncoder releases,
version 7 at least.
