WMV Reindexing |
|
|
I've got a not indexed WMV Video. I import it into Windows Media Encoder and
use custom settings to export it as a WMV Indexed Video. The custom settings
I use are: 30Kbps Video bitrate, 20Kbps 22Khz mono CBR audio bitrate, no
resize (original size is 320x240). These settings are the same as the video
source.
When I start the encoding process, after few seconds I get the 0x8000FFFF
error and the conversion fails.
I tried to use Windows Media File Editor for indexing the wmv file but the
"unable to save file" error, hope when the encoder try to reindex.
I'm using Windows XP SP2 on a Toshiba Tecra S1.
I found nothing on the internet related to this problem. Could anyone help me?

Use Windows Media File Editor to Save and Index to a new file. =)
"C:\Program Files\Windows Media Components\Encoder\wmeditor.exe"
