WMV to ASF conversion |
|
|
Hi.
Another basic streaming question. If I want to stream WMV
files over a Windows STD Server 2003, do I need to convert
the WMV files to ASF format?
If I do, how do I do it? I have WM Encoder 9, but I can't
see anywhere on the program where I can convert WMV to ASF
files. What am I missing?
Thanks for your help.
Robert.

You're missing that ASF and WMV are 2 names for the exact
same thing: use you favorire file explorer and rename the
files.

WMV is equivalent to ASF, they are synonyms. No conversion is needed
although you can change the file extension if it makes you happier
(try it, and see what happens).
