Hi there,

I'm broadcasting at 64kbps48000. All my mp3s (@320) have been normalized.
Sometimes, quality seems to be dropping to 32kbps, without any apparent
reason.
It looks like the codec is internally clipping and doesn't manage to encode
correctly.
After 2 months of heavy testing on one single song (which had heavy
distortion even @80kbps), I've discovered that reducing volume by 10dB
definitly resolves the problem. This is weird.
I'd like to send you, @ Microsoft, some samples so you could hear that.

I've decided to broadcast @-10dB. This is not a solution. I'd like to find
another to bypass this distortion.

Are the codecs v10 coming soon ? :D

Thanks in advance

Christophe
