Powerpoint Presentations |

I have version-9 of media player and have a NIKON digital camera which takes
video clips in .mov format. These clips are not supported in media player and
hence I am unable to make ppt slides. I get the error message
0xC00D1199: Cannot play the file
Please advise how to insert these .mov video clips in ppt slides

You need Apple Quicktime to playback .mov files.
As for making them work with PPT, try one of the PPT newsgroups. |

Dear Mike,
many thanks for the response. Yes, I can see the .mov file in Quick Time
Player but can not insert as a movie clip in powerpoint slides.

As Mike suggested, if you have a PowerPoint question post in
microsoft.public.powerpoint. There are some issues with Quicktime and PPT.

Dear Mike,
many thanks for the prompt response. I did try the website suggested by you.
The advise to buy Quicktime Pro is difficult for us to implement. Can you
suggest any freeware which can convert .mov to .avi or .mpeg?
Regards,
