Can't play DVD's in WMP 10 |

Hi,
I loved being able to watch DVD's with WMP9, but now that I have upgraded to
WMP10 I can't watch them anymore. I'm told that I have to download a codec
to do that. I've tried uninstalling WMP10, and even though WMP9 comes back
I still cannot play DVD's. Why is this? How do I get back the ability to
play DVD's?
I have tested this between two computers--one upgraded to WMP10 and the
other left with WMP9. Both have the same config. What is the problem here?
