I can go to the Internet but when I try to listen to the music with Windows
Media Player 7, the song starts but I can't hear anything. The volume is
pretty loud but I still can't hear anything...

do you have it set to use the proxy for the web page or are trying to enter
it manually - have you installed any programs lately?

My computer was really messed up (I couldn't use any programs, including
Windows Media Player, Internet Explorer, even Paint Shop Pro or any other
programs). I had to install all of them again. Now I can go to the Internet
but I can't hear any music if I try to listen to them with Windows Media
Player. I see the song starting but I can't hear a thing. When I try to
listen to songs which I have saved onto my computer, I still can't listen to
them.. I don't think I have to go to the Internet or that I would need an
Internet connection to listen to music! I didn't have to before...
