Does anyone from MicroSoft Read these Boards?! |

Hello?! Most of these posts are going unanswered. What's the deal
Microsoft? You put out a player that has major problems, offer no fixes and
don't answer the boards when people ask for help?
Where's the customer service?

These boards are NOT related to Microsoft - Microsoft have NOTHING to do
with them.
They are just private enthusiasts trying to help others.
They are not a free tech support system from Microsoft.

How about this.... does *anyone* respond to these posts? The vast majority
are unanswered.

As already said this is not Microsoft Support. Add to that, 90% of the
questions have already been answered in the past, use the SEARCH. If you
can't find the answer in other threads you have two choices. (1) Wait for
some other WMP user to reply (2) Contact Product Support. It is clearly
noted that this is not Microsoft Support. Read the FAQ and TOS.

There are maybe 5 regular respondants. Most of the unanswered posts are
so devoid of diagnosable detail that it's difficult to say anything.
Many other problems simply don't have known solutions, or suggested
solutions haven't beenb verified because folsk with problem sdon't
report back success/failure.

This is not customer service. This is a public newsgroup hosted by Microsoft where people who are consumers just like you try to help their peers.
Sometimes Microsoft Employees do answer answer questions here. But it is answered in the capacity of peers just like you with no $$$ involved. You want Customer Service Microsoft wants your $$$.

Bill Gates has many times more money than he will ever need , so no one cares
as far as I know . Windows Media Player is at the bottom of the barrel , as
far as players go
