I have WMP 10 and I'm had made some changes to some tags and what not.
Basically doing some cleaning up of tags. And WMP 10 is showing some of the
old information and I want to clear it all out and start fresh. How can if
get rid of what's there now and have it load my music folder from scratch so
I don't have that old infomation in there.

Also, A LOT of my music is showing up wrong in Windows Media Center Edition
2005. I know they are tagged correctly as I've spent many, many hours with a
tagginng program (tag & rename) to help correct all problems. So does WMCE
2005 get its information from WMP 10?

You can try F3 (Process Media Information) to get it to update, but
there's a good chance that WMP will mess with your tags. I *strongly*
advise backing up all your media files and album-art before allowing WMP
to touch them further, especially after you've cleaned up your tags.

You can replace/rebuild your media-library thus:
