It's taking me too long to burn a cd using WMP10; help! |

When I had Windows Media Player 9 and I finally learned how to use it, it
took very little time for me to burn a cd. (I have Road Runner high speed
internet, if it matters). Somehow, I must have upgraded to the Windows Media
Player 10 (it suddenly appeared one day). I am still trying to learn how to
use this. I was hoping to make a couple of cd's for Christmas gifts. My
problem is: I tried burning last night and it was this afternoon before it
finally completed. What am I doing wrong? Do I need to delete the WMP9 before
this will speed up? Or is there a way to go back? I'm still pretty much brand
new with this and will appreciate any advice.
