I have a Gateway DMP-X20 MP3 player in which I use WMP 9 to dwnld to my MP3
player. The problem I'm encountering is the way the WMP organizes my songs.
I copy a CD to my hardrive into my Music folder. I then try and dwnld to my
MP3 player in the same order as the CD, by track number. However, when it
dwnlds to my MP3 player it magically alphabetizes it rather than by track
number. The track numbers come up sequentially when I load the CD and rip to
my harddrive. When I go through the process of dwnldg to my mp3 player it
shows it's copying to my mp3 player by track number ( i.e Track 1 "Song
title", Track 2 "Song title", etc). The songs are dwnld to my mp3 player
just fine, sound great. Again the problem is the order in which the CD is
organized on my mp3 player, alphabetically.
I have upgraded to WMP 10 and that didn't solve anything, but created more
problems so I went back to WMP 9. I have posted this prob to many discussion
boards with no answer!! Can anybody help....MVP's????????????
