Hello folks!

New here, and very ignorant in computer technology.

I received an email that had a short video attached, and I down loaded it to save on my computer.

I would like to know how I can post that video to a web site forum?

I have tried to copy it but had no luck

Any help will be deeply appreciated.

You can upload it to http://www.youtube.com/ , then post the video link on the forum.

Could you please tell me how and where is the link that I use to post, and when I post it will it show as an YouTube picture where someone can just click on it?

As you can tell by now I am very ignorant in this procedure, however trying very hard to learn as much as I can.

Don't worry, we can do it step by step.

[Upload your video]
You need to upload your video first on http://www.youtube.com, your uploaded video will have an address. e.g. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tHXM97aYo_o

[Post your video address on forums]
The above address can be pasted on any forums, other members can watch it by clicking on the link.

A more elegant way, only allowed by some forums, you can embed the video in your post, so that other members will see your video image directly and can click "play" to watch it without leaving the forum. Here is an example forum: http://www.natmedtalk.com/showthread.php?t=2462

Please keep in mind the second method is only allowed on some forums, and it's not necessary.
