File date/time keeps changing |

I use a program called Second Copy to backup my music files. It uses the date stamp to determine if the file is newer than the backup and therefore needs to be backed up. Something is causing the date stamp to be updated on my WMA files. It's usually all of the files, but sometimes it's only most of them. Why all of them don't always change is more confusing than why any of them change to begin with.
I think WMP is causing this. Any idea why? And more importantly, how to make it stop?
BTW, I'm also using Vista Media Center, in case that has anything to do with it.
