I've been recording LPs onto my computer and making mp3's. There must be some way to get info like artist and album name from the actual filename by some kind of separator, ie:
01-songname-artist-album.mp3
I want to automatically get the tags from the filename. Obviously I can't just use 'find album info' as I'm getting files from old records (some of which have cd counterparts, but of course they're never quite the same). This is bugging the hell out of me - I know I could just save the filename as the song title, then edit album artist info, but when I add multiple records at once, this gets pretty confusing and tedious. There has to be a way!
