Secure Clock Question |
|
|
We distribute content to MTP devices in remote locations where we don't always have an internet connection. Here is the question: After sending a DRM protected piece of content to the device (and yes, the license is installed on the computer doing the sending) the device will attempt to contact Microsoft. If we don't have an internet connection, the drm content will not be played.
I agree, the secure clock makes sense, but how can our server be used instead of Microsoft??
Is this because the license is time sensative?
Please help
Tom
