currently all Mac Windows Media players are unable to open videos or ASX
files served from secure servers. However, the Windows versions starting
with Player 7 do. Any plans to fix this? We have a huge e-learning system
that runs under SSL, cross platform use, and right now Windows Media only
works if we use mms:// URLs directly in the html. Can't embed, etc.
Quicktime works just fine on all platforms except 95% of our users are
Windows based. I'd rather have the 5% Mac base download a functional and
compatible player.
comments? Maybe in version 10?
