MP10 No Blank Disc |
|
|
MP10 no longer recognises blank CDs for burning. I am using the same disks as
when it did burn, and can burn from other programs (Itunes, Nero, etc).
I have cold-booted sveral times to no avail.
I saw a similar thread "no disc drive" that was resolved by using different
CDs, but in my case I know the CDs are good because they work in other burn
programs, and used to work in this version of MP10.
Running latest version of MP10 under Windows XP.
I hate to reload MP10 because even tho' I have license backup - restores
never go smoothly and take an inordinate amount of time.
Thank for any help.

don't know what mp10 is, but roll back to wmp 9 , not sure what a cold boot is either. do know, you must have the tunes on your hard drive before you can burn. _________________ jar |

may help here...
Reloading WMP wouldn't do anything here because you're dealing with the
system CD burner, as opposed to any code living in WMP proper...

(speaking for myself and doing this in my free time)
See http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info.
