Greetings,

I am having a problem with WMP 10 locking up whenever I try to play any
type of video file. This began when I attempted to do an Office update and it
failed. Since then I have had this problem. I have been able to successfully
do the update but the problem remains. I am currently running Windows WX
Home. I have tried going back to WMP 9 and it had the same problem. I then
re-installed WMP 10 but the problem remains. Any ideas??

Is mplayer2.exe affected as well?
That's not a lot to go on as regards a hang. They're tough to trouble-shoot
remotely. Actual product support-

may be a much more effective route.

I'm not sure what mplayer2.exe is. It seems the WMP is taking 100% of the
computing power so a "hang'" may not be correct.
