We're using Windows Media Player v9.0.0 (the lastest version I guess)
under Mac OS X.
We cannot vizualize video (wmv files) from a Web server (IIS6) by way
of HTTPS protocol over Secure Sockets Layer,
nor when Basic authentification is required.
on the other hand we can when using WMP v9 (or v10) under Windows XP.

Interesting... I wonder whether it is part of the hhtp 1.0 vs 1.1
problem with the plug-in or a new bug I didn't know of yet... Would you
have a link you could provide ??? (but if the csite is secure, I'm
affraid I won't be able to acces a sample).

client and/or the server ?
Any suggestion will be appreciated.

Did you try entering the direct link in WMP itself through the Open URL
command ??
