I'm new to all of this video stuff. I'm creating a movie on QuickTime
and I was wondering if it can be played on Windows Media Player. I
know .mov can't be, but are there other file formats that can be
played on both? Thanks.

You can create .avi from QT. THese files should play in WMP for WIndows.
You can also create MPEG files or DivX .avi if you have the appropriate
codecs on your Mac.
