Problem with AVI playback - Video doesn't advance |
|
|
I'm installing a new machine (WinXP SP2, WMP 10). There's a problem with the
playback of AVI files. The audio plays fine, but the video shows a frame or
two and then freezes up.
GSpot claims:
Filesize.....: 21.3 MB (or 21,831 KB or 22,355,966 bytes)
Runtime......: 00:04:11 (7,545 fr)
Video Codec..: DivX 5.0
----
Stat says there are 4 compatible decoders:
ffdshow MPEG-4 Video Decoder
XviD MPEG-4 Video Decoder
DivX Decoder Filter
DivX Decoder Filter (Yes, it is repeated)
---
Video Bitrate: 610 kb/s
Audio Codec..: 0x0055(MP3) ID'd as MPEG-1 Layer 3
Audio Bitrate: 96 kb/s (48/ch, stereo) CBR
Frame Size...: 352x256 (1.38:1) [=11:8]
Any thoughts or more information needed?
