Now playing list not showing on WMP10 startup |

In 'Library' View my Now Playing List no longer appears down the right hand
side on startup. However there is a blank area where the list should be.
If I add files to now playing list they play and queue as normal, however I
can't see it.
The only way I have found to bring the Now Playing list back is to switch it
to 'Burn' or 'Sync' list (which display fine) and then back to Now Playing
again. No further problems until WMP is exited and starting again. I have
tried both updating from WMP & rolling back/uninstalling and re-installing
the latest version, no joy.
Version is 10.00.00.3802
Hope someone can help.
