Convert Audio CD to MP3 |
|
|
I downloaded Windows Media Player 10 from Microsoft and tried to convert
(Rip) to MP3 from a CD and got a message saying I needed a MP3 encoder. I
thought this was included with WMP 10.

What bitrate are you trying to conver at?
One question down from
http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html#mp3encode
will likely cover your error condition.

I am ripping at 128 bitrate. Thanks for your reply, but why should I buy an
encoder when Microsoft says its included in WMP 10?

Uhh, you don't need to. You have a minor registry hiccup. Like I suggested
last time:
One question down from
http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html#mp3encode
will cover your error condition - and how to fix it, of course.
=)

IT WORKED! Thanks I really appreciate the help. I've been trying to do this
for some time and couldn't get it to work, I even got a program (that didn't
work "Pyro 5") that doesn't do what it says. Thanks again.
