Windows Media Player 9 trouble |
|
|
I just upgraded from 7.3 to 9.0 for Mac. I'm on OS 10.3.5
Since I upgraded, when I try to listen to anything on NPR like Fresh Air,
the player window opens immediately but "Connecting" time is like ten
minutes or more before it starts playing. Sometimes it never starts
playing. I get messages like "the server is not responding"
I've tried various browsers, inlcuding Safari and Explorer.
And I can't save video files in 9.0. I could in 7.3.
Anyone know anything about this?
Thanks,
Kirk

I too was having that problem, but it seems to be fixed now.
Can you try it again, and see if it works? |

Still not working. Both Windows Media Player and Real Player. Seems to be
a problem with the NPR site, but I don't know how to correct it.

Do you have a firewall/proxy server that could be the cause of the
issue ??
