Windows Media won't detect my Mp3 Player, why? |

I need help. I got a new MP3 player for Christmas, its a Samsung YP-T7J and I
have spent the last two nights trying to get it to work with Windows Media
Player 10. I loaded the CD that came with it, it installed WMP 10 but after I
choose my songs and select synch it keeps saying it does not detect a device.
What am I doing wrong?

Nothing. The Samsung YP-Series cannot be synced with wmp10.
Use windows explorer instead to copy files onto it.

I'm having a similar problem, except while I am able to transfer music to my
player, in the Library tab where it's supposed to list external devices it
doesn't show my player (I'm using an iRiver T30MX). So I'm unable to switch
between automatic and manual synching. Anybody know what's wrong?
