Depending on the type of file, such as mp3, wma, wmv etc; you may want to use
the Windows Media Encoder 9 Series to tweak the file size.
Just be aware, although you may reduce the size of the original file, you
may also lose quality & performance.
Download the Encoder from Microsoft, it's free..
