Regarding WMP10
Firstly I've just re-installed XP with SP2 as the mini-mode player stopped
working and now when I even just open WMP it shoots the CPU to 99% and the
memory to about 140MB! (142,104kb to be precise).
This is outrageous, the player isn't even doing anything, the library is of
a decent size, Internet file infomation is turned off and it's only
monitoring my "My Music" folder.
Please can anybody help me.
Windows is Sp2 And All latest updates are installed after fresh re-install
(Formatted).

Thanks in advance.

Adam, the Mini mode player, is this a WMP10 Skin you are speaking off?
Just a thought, you may want to run a cleanup routine for any Adware
programs that maybe HiJacking your computer.
I have run across information regarding playing a certain files like AVI's
which cause 100% CPU usage...
Go here...

Hopefully it's just a simple fix...
