For some reason, WMV stopped working on my Mac. When I download or
double-click a file, WMV is activated (the icon is bouncing in the
dock) but it never loads and the file doesn't play. I have downloaded
and installed a new version of WMV but it still doesn't work. Any
idea what has gone wrong?

Did you try to trash the ,plis and the WMP Pref file ?? Repair the
permissions ???

I deleted the MWP Pref file and it worked! Thanks!! Bruce

They're in the pref folder in your account:

~/Library/Preferences/Windows Media Player Prefs
~/Library/Preferences/com.microsoft.mediaplayer.plist
