Media Center and Dishnetwork with Dual TV Tuner |

Hello all, I'm hoping that someone can help me figure this out. I just
upgrade my satelitte service to Dishnetwork DVR with Dual TV Tuner. So, with
one tuner, I can record on one channel, watch another, or connect another tv.
Additionally, it has an S-video connection
So, I'm thinking that I do not have to get a TV tuner card, I can connect
directly into the tuner through the S-video connection. Then record onto my
hard drives, which will be set in a JBod array.
Additionally, I can take advantage of the Dual tuner mode and record to the
DVR through one tuner and my hard drives through the other.
Now my question, does the above make sense or am I missing something. And
do I need to get a tv tuner?
