I have a windows xp computer and I took a movie with my camera and want to
change it from .mov to .wma . As far as I know the only way to do this is to
either buy quick time pro or register with real player.

It's cheap anyway - do it : You'll have lots more of these mov files
in future, and QT Pro can do a lot of useful conversions. Make sure to
get the QT7 key so you can use H264 encoding (QT6 doesn't have that)

The other alternative is the Riverpast converter tools, but they cost
$$ too.

That won't help you (young jedi), realplayer can't read (and convert)
..mov to anything at all AFAIK.
