Windows Media Player 9 won't install under Mac OS 10.3.4 Sol |

I restarted in Safe Boot mode and it finally installed. Now that it's installed,
it has to be run at least once before clicking on a stream link or it won't
play the stream. I have it working in both IE and Safari.
This was the original problem: The file downloads and expands fine. The
installation starts and then the spinning beach ball appears and "application
not responding" comes up on the dock, necessitating a force quit. System is
very clean (a couple weeks old). Permissions are fixed. There are no pref and
..plist files to be found for the installer.

My problem is WMP 9 will not open. Running OS 10.3.5. Installed fine I think,
but cannot open- showing "application not responding." Can you help? Thanks.

Ty trashing the prefs and .plist file corresopnding to this applciation.
