What are the reatures in Windows Media that comply with helping the disabled
read test or get visual disruptions. Where can I get detailed instructions
and further information.

Where can I see the different methods to do this in action (sami, smil, etc.)?

re:
closed captioning
subtitling
not as interested - but visual descriptions

It's not clear whether you are trying to read captions or produce media
that includes them.

www.microsoft.com/enable is the most likely place to list something,
although I'm not sure what "read test or get visual disruptions" means.

You may find that you are reliant on Windows XP visual accessibility
features.

There are very many forms of disability from visual difficulty,
hearing problems up to total deafness, and motor / muscle control
disablities to name a few.

You'd better get more specific in your aims if you want any directed
answers - nobody here has enough free time to answer open ended
questions, sorry.

Windows media player help file has a list of keyboard shortcuts.
Windows has built in assistive screen contrast themes, keyboard and
mouse adaptations, as well as a window "text" reader (though it's not
very good). Look in windows Help for that.
